A REDDITCH running group has ended its year on a high with special guest, Santa, joining them on their last session.
After a busy Christmas, Santa and Redditch Round Table came and surprised the children from Kids Run, running laps with them.
Kids Run was also visited by Chrissy Trickett, the Asda Community Champion and Mary Gill the Tesco Community Champion.
All children received a chocolate reindeer for their efforts.
Kids Run will return to the Abbey Stadium on January 20.
The event is free for the whole family.
Each week children have 20 minutes to run as many laps as possible, tracking their laps each week in order to work towards a marathon and beyond.
Medals and certificates are awarded.
