KNIGHTS Pharmacy is stepping up its Covid vaccination programme from its headquarters in Palmers Road, South Moons Moat.
The company, which has branches across the country, has moved from administering jab sessions three times a week to five times a week as more supplies of the vaccine come in from the NHS.
“At the moment the cut off point is 65 and the government has recently extended the categories of people who need to be shielding,” said Nitin Sodha from Knights.
“So we are urging anyone who falls within those categories or who is older and hasn’t yet had the vaccine to get themselves an appointment through the NHS national booking service.
“We have the capacity to handle the numbers and we have plenty of parking onsite, but do not just turn up, you need to book an appointment first.”
