LABOUR captured Abbey from the Conservatives on their way to an overall gain of three seats on the night.
Sid Khan defeated new Tory candidate James Walsh 43 votes.
Meanwhile Councillor Craig Warhurst retained Astwood Bank & Feckenham for the Conservatives by more than 400 votes.
