A NUMBER of large knives were seized when a car on false plates was pulled over in Redditch earlier today.
The driver made off from police in Woodrow after officers’ suspicion was aroused while they were on patrol.
It turned out the car had been stolen from another force area in July.
The driver ran off but the vehicle was seized for forensic examinations which are now under way to identify the driver.
A search uncovered the vicious looking weapons.
