THERE’S a whole lot of Lego going on at Forge Mill Needle Museum this Sunday, August 19.
All summer long this hidden Redditch gem has been hosting its ‘Brick Built’ exhibition, a celebration of one of the best toys ever invented.
And on Sunday it’s got the Forge Mill Brick Show with a display of fan-built creations made by ‘Brick Central’ a recognised Lego user group.
Something for everyone is promised and a demonstration of just what can be achieved with the versatile little bricks.
As it is the venue has a stunning exhibition of just what can be achieved, with replicas of famous French landmarks l’Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower to Nelcon’s Column in London and the Angel of the North and the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle.
They’ve even got a replica of the Empire State Building, built – you guessed it – from plastic bricks.
There’s also an outdoor and indoor trail, the Lego base challenge, and the build a tower competition.
