Lidl recalls drinking chocolate sticks containing allergens not legible on the packaging

LIDL has recalled four of its Deluxe Drinking Chocolate Sticks due to allergens which are not legible on the packaging.

The products, which contain gluten, milk, nuts, soya and wheat, have been recalled because the ingredients list on the packaging is not written in English.

The following items have been recalled by the Food Advice Service as they pose a health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance:

Fine Dark Chocolate (60g) – contains soya.




Fine Hazelnut (60g) – contains milk, hazelnut and soya,

Fine Hazelnut (60g) – contains milk, hazelnut and soya,


With Speculoos (60g – contains milk, wheat and soya.

Fine White Chocolate (60g) – contains milk and soya.

Anyone who has purchased any of the products and has an allergy or intolerance to any of the allergens listed can return the product to the store for a full refund.

No other LIDL products are known to be affected.
