Life in Egypt told in Redditch Bible exhibition

AN EXHIBITION exploring the history of the Bible will be on show in Redditch.

The historical showcase started on Sunday, September 24 at The Gospel Hall, Foxlydiate Crescent and runs to Friday, October 6.

Models and exhibits will depict the life of Israelites in Eygpt in the days of Moses, The Tabernacle and The Temple.

There will be displays of Eastern agricultural instruments and tools, as well as examples of Canaanite, Hebrew and Greek pottery and authentic first century Roman nails.

Visitors can also see replicas of ancient Babylonian tablets and the famous Rosetta Stone, used by scholars to decipher Egyptian hieroglyphics.

Large screens will display photographic material illustrating biblical history while ancient manuscripts up to the translation of the King James version of the Bible will also feature.




The free exhibition will be open from 10am to 8pm (Monday to Saturday) and between 2pm and 4pm (Sunday).
