Lion Dance to herald re-opening of a taste of the Orient in the Kingfisher

Redditch Editorial 26th Apr, 2019   0

A CHINESE restaurant in Redditch’s Kingfisher shopping complex is officially opening tomorrow, Saturday with a spectacular Lion Dance following complete refurbishment, writes Henri Bujard.

Kungfu Oriental Buffet Restaurant will offer diners more than 80 traditional Chinese and Oriental dishes including teppanyaki, seafood and dim sum stations.

The restaurant sits alongside other new popular openings such as KFC and Wrapchic.

Domonique Lippett, marketing manager at the Kingfisher, described the launch as a ‘spectacle for the whole family to delight in’.

She said: “We’re excited to welcome the newly refurbished restaurant to the fantastic selection of restaurants we have here at Kingfisher and are looking forward to watching the creative and dynamic lion dance this Saturday.

“The dance makes it the perfect welcome for a restaurant that serves an oriental offering for all to enjoy.”

Although the restaurant opened in a low-key way a few weeks ago, its official launch is set for this weekend with the Lion Dance scheduled for 2pm.

Kungfu Oriental Buffet Restaurant is open for lunch 12noon to 3pm and dinner from 5pm to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 12noon to 9.30pm on Sundays.
