REDDITCH Lions are appealing for new members to help support their fund-raising efforts.
The membership is currently at 14 people and club president Jeff Jennings is urging kind-hearted people in the borough to get involved.
The group meets from 7.30pm to 8pm every second Wednesday of the month at Southcrest Manor Hotel.
Redditch Lions are part of Lions Club International, which has its roots in the USA.
Lions International has local clubs around the world, helping their local communities. Lions International also supports international causes, when the need arises, such as earthquake appeals.
Jeff said: “We have several fundraising events throughout the year, including Children in Need, quiz nights and meals.
“We want like minded individuals to get involved and help make a difference.”
