Electrical fault sparks morning shut down at Lloyds Bank in Redditch

Correspondent 14th May, 2018 Updated: 14th May, 2018

LLOYDS Bank in Redditch has now opened for business after an electrical fault forced it to remain closed until after 1pm today, Monday, May 14, writes Neil Gordon.

The branch opened its doors to customers sometime between 1.10pm and 1.50pm, having been closed for over four hours due to ‘unforseen circumstances’.

The branch normally opens at 9am on a Monday.

A notice on the door, at the Church Green East branch, which had been advising customers to use the Bromsgrove branch has now been removed.

A spokesperson for the bank said that the fault had to be fixed before the branch could open.
