THE government has given local authorities a grant of £2.2million to help tackle air pollution.
Among the recipients is Transport for West Midlands which will get a £340,000 share of the money.
This will be used to retrofit of at least 20 buses to Euro VI. Working in partnership with Redditch Borough Council as well as other councils including Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Stratford on Avon and Tamworth.
