LOCAL beat bobby PC Sue Blundell sniffed out four teenagers smoking cannabis following complaints from local residents.

Members of the Alcester North Safer Neighbourhood Team had received information that there had been issues in an alleyway between the Redditch Road and High Street in Studley.

On July 27 PC Blundell was on patrol in the area and could smell cannabis being smoked and she duly found four teenagers sat down nearby, all in possession of cannabis, which was then seized.

Police say all four will be dealt with in the appropriate manner.

OVER the night of Tuesday, August 7 thieves broke into a home in Winchcombe Road, Alcester through a front window to steal car keys before driving off with the Seat car parked outside.

Elsewhere in Alcester a thief broke into a home in Throckmorton Road while the family were away and made off with four cushions.
