BUILDERS Abbey & Lyndon raised £2,749 for Prostate Cancer during its bi-annual charity event at Redditch Golf Club last Thursday, July 25.
As well as raising cash for the charity, which funds prostate cancer research, staff at Abbey and Lyndon were also celebrating 50 years in the business.
Those visiting on the day were treated to a ‘trick shot show’ run by a PGA professional golfer and a charity auction full of golf memorabilia.
Damon Auld, manager of the Shawbank Road builders, said: “Thank you to all the local companies who donated prizes in our charity auction and via the Just Giving page.
