A LOCAL care home have scooped two awards for dementia care and end of life care at the annual Adept Excellence Awards Gala Night.
Bowood Court & Mews Care Home on Hewell Road prides itself in providing ‘a superb place to live or work’ was recognised for its efforts over the past 12 months.
Vicki Walker, Bowood Mews manager said: “We are also proud that we have achieved the Dementia Care award.
“At Bowood Court & Mews, our dementia care has a simple, person-first approach.
“We recognise that dementia care can be complex and is unique to everyone. We put our residents’ needs at the heart of everything we do, promoting their independence, choice, and dignity.”

“We understand the need for excellent communication with family members and we strive to ensure residents and their families are well informed so that they can focus on the important things in life.”
