MUSIC lovers should make tracks for GlastonBeoley at Redditch Rugby, Cricket and Hockey Club this Friday and Saturday, June 30, July 1.
In all 38 bands will be performing over the two days and as well as the music there will be loads of things to keep concertgoers entertained.
These include mini fair rides, pony rides, pygmy goats, and much more.
“Redditch Rugby Club is a great venue and we’ve really gone all out this year,” said joint organiser Debbie Joynes.
“We’ve got some terrific bands five of which will feature a sign language for the deaf expert, the bar will be open in the clubhouse, there will be cocktails, an open air concert bar and loads of luscious food too.”
Headliners on the Friday are Vaseline while on Saturday All Killer will be topping the bill.
As ever all money raised will be available for local charities.
“Once again we’ve decided to create a funding pot for local good causes to apply to so that we can help charities throughout the year,” said Debbie.
Previous recipients include the great work against knife crime being done by Pete Martin of Redditch Self Defence, Isaac’s Foodbank, MySteps, and Inspire Redditch.
Support for this year’s event come from a number of sources, including Zoo Accounting, Shakespeare Martineau, and Bromsgrove Waste Disposal.
Tickets are £10 in advance (up until 2pm on Friday) or £15 on the gate, and cover both days.
The festival starts at 5pm on Friday and runs from midday to 10pm on Saturday.
Under 16s will get in for free.
Redditch Rugby, Cricket and Hockey Club is on Bromsgrove Road in Redditch, about a mile out of the town centre.
