Local dance group take to the stage for special lockdown performance

Redditch Editorial 20th Jun, 2022   0

NEXT month (July 3rd) the dancers and cheerleaders of Strong Feet Dance Academy in Alcester, will take to the stage for the first time in three years to astound and entertain their family and friends.

Since summer 2019 the Strong Feet students have been working their socks off, not only with learning their dance technique for exams, but honing their artistic and performance skills to bring you an amazing 2022 Showcase.

They will pay homage to the songs that got us through lockdown with performances to the songs of Vera Lynn, M People and Spice Girls.

Strong Feet is led by Michelle Hughes, who gives hour after hour to nurture and teach the students not just dance but so much more.

Michelle said: “This will be a proud day for our academy, and I’m looking forward to seeing my students back on stage doing what they love after a difficult few years.”
