REDDITCH MP Karen Lumley made a Christmas visit to four care homes in the town on Monday (December 21) to spread a little cheer among staff and residents.
She visited Parklands in Callow Hill, Brambles in Birchfield Road, Headless Cross, The Cedars, Cedar Park Road in Batchley and then Bowood Court in Enfield.
“Christmas is my favourite time of the year and one of the most enjoyable parts about my job as MP is my Christmas visits,” said Karen.
“It is always a particular pleasure to visit care homes in my constituency, first of all to pass on my thanks to the hard-working and dedicated staff for the work that they do, and secondly to wish the residents a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year.”
Karen will be making her annual Christmas Day visit to patients at the Alexandra Hospital on Friday.
