REDDITCH Mayor Councillor Juliet Brunner marked the second anniversary of the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox with a picnic for local residents in Arrow Valley Park.
Cox was shot and stabbed as she went to hold a surgery in her Batley and Spen constituency.
Coun Brunner’s ‘great get together’ was part of a nationwide event designed to celebrate the idea that more unites us than divides us.
People were asked to bring along some food themselves and to share it as a sign of solidarity and remembrance.
