A LODGE Park bookworm who is sick and tired of struggling to hunt down his favourite titles has found the perfect solution.
Steve Turner is launching Redditch Books, an online site which details a whole hoard of books ready and waiting for collection just 48 hours after reservation.
The 37-year-old, an operations manager at Redditch based Praybourne Ltd, said: “I developed the site as a solution to some of the frustrations I personally found when trying to find specific used book titles or authors in local shops.
“I found it more miss than hit and had to resort to ordering online which meant waiting in some cases over a week for orders to be delivered.”
Steve hopes redbooks.co.uk will become an ‘Argos for book readers’ – providing fellow bookworms with a site to browse and reserve coveted titles.
The site, which currently boasts 500 titles, offers books at £1.40 each and with the Red Swap option, customers can trade in their own books to go towards purchases – paying as little as 90p for a new title. Visit www.redbooks.co.uk for more information.
