THERE’S not many coffee mornings that can bring in £1,500 for a good cause – unless it’s organised by Maggie Payne.
The Alcester fund-raising stalwart once again pulled out all the stops for Alcester in Bloom, raising money which will make sure the market town looks its best come the spring of 2022.
Maggie is a maestro at baking and her delicious offerings ensured everyone parted with their money with a smile on their faces.
Not one to sit back, Maggie is now planning one of her famous garage cake stalls in December with mince pies also on the menu.
It’s sure to be a time to get in your order early before she sells out.
Once again, all proceeds will go to Alcester in Bloom.
