TV GARDENER Toby Buckland will giving a gardening talk at Great Alne Park on Wednesday, May 18.
The former Gardeners’ World presenter, author and award-winning gardener will be going the later living community, just outside Alcester, to demonstrate how to enhance small garden areas.
He will discuss how to design and maintain a patio or balcony garden, giving his top tips for creating beautiful containers and hanging baskets.
Toby will also talk about his garden experience and career where guests will have the opportunity to ask him their gardening questions. The event takes place from 11am to 2pm in Great Alne Park’s central clubhouse.
Best known for his presenting on BBC’s Gardeners’ World, Toby has also won several gardening accolades including RHS Gold, Best in Show at Gardeners’ World Live and the Environmental Award from the Garden Media Guild.
He also launched online plant nursery, Toby Buckland Nurseries, in 2011, has his own radio show and writes for various newspapers and gardening magazines, as well as having published five books.
On May 18 Toby will discuss his illustrious career and his creative and hands-on approach to gardening, including his love for garden features that make use of both plants and recycled materials.
Coffee and cake will be served and guests will also have the opportunity to receive a tour of the village and meet residents of Great Alne Park.
