A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drug dealing following a warrant executed at a property in Redditch this morning.
Officers from Redditch Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), County Lines and a dog handler, attended an address on Prospect Road North following intelligence around suspected illegal activity.
Once inside they found a significant quantity of suspected Class A drugs. A man was also seen throwing three bags of suspected drugs plus around 500 wraps from a bedroom window.
Around 200 wraps were also found bagged up in a bedroom, bringing the total estimated street value of the drugs to around £20,000.
A man in his 40s was arrested at the property on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and is currently in police custody helping with enquiries.
SNT Insp for Redditch, Rich Field said: “This morning we executed a misuse of drugs warrant at an address in Prospect Road, Redditch following intelligence around suspected drug dealing.
“We found a large quantity of class A drugs – heroin and cocaine – and arrested a man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
