A MAN has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Redditch yesterday.
Officers were called to KN Convenience Store on Bromsgrove Road around 12.45pm following a report a man threatened a member of staff with an axe, and stole cash and tobacco.
The suspect then left the area on a motorbike.
No one was injured during the incident.
A 39-year-old man was arrested a short time later on suspicion of robbery. He remains in police custody.
