TWO POLICE officers were assaulted in Redditch town centre yesterday evening.
They were called to reports of disorder on Church Green West at around 5:25pm.
A 26-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence and assaulting two police officers.
The man remains in custody this morning.
