A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in Redditch.
The body of a woman in her 40s was found at an address on Winyates Way on Monday, August 31.
A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene but has since been bailed.
West Mercia Police chief inspector Ed Hancox said: “At around 8.50pm, police were called to Winyates Way following the death of a woman.
“The death is being treated as suspicious and officers are at the scene while an investigation is carried out.
“Officers attended the post-mortem this morning.
“A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder, however he has since been bailed to return on the September 24.”
