Man charged and another arrested in Redditch murder investigation

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Redditch local Colton Bryan.

The man, who is in his 20s, was arrested at around 12:30pm today (July 21) and remains in police custody.

He has not been named.

Another man, Adam Carpenter, has been charged with conspiring to commit robbery.

Carpenter, aged 20, was arrested in Weston-super-Mare at 3am on Saturday, July 18 and taken to Kidderminster Police Station.

The Wharrington Hill resident will appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today (July 22).

The arrests were made as part of the ongoing investigation into the murder Colton Bryan at Guinness Close, Redditch on July 15.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “While the investigation continues there will be an increased presence of officers in the area.

“Anyone with any information or concerns can speak to an officer or call 101.”
