A MAN has died after falling from a multi-storey car park in Redditch.

Around 1pm today Emergency services were called to Kingfisher Shopping Centre Car Park 4.

He was pronounced dead at scene.

A spokesperson from West Mercia Police said: “Emergency services are currently in attendance but the man has sadly been pronounced dead at the scene.

“Enquiries into the man’s death are now ongoing. However, we do not believe there to have been any third-party involvement.”

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.50pm to an incident nearby to Clarke Street in Redditch.

“Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic attended the scene.

“Upon arrival we found a man.

“Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of ambulance staff at the scene it became clear that nothing more could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased.”
