POLICE in Redditch say a man is helping with their enquiries after a video emerged online of a man kicking ducks and geese near Batchley Pond.
The shocking video shows the man, who is carrying a drink can, chasing the birds and kicking out at them, striking one or two.
The Standard contacted Redditch Police about the incident.
Sgt Charlie Osborne from the Redditch Safer Neighbourhood Team said “We are aware of a video circulating on social media of the incident, and of concerns raised by the local community.
“A man is assisting us with enquiries and we would ask the public to refrain from sharing the footage as our investigation continues.”
