A MAN was taken to the Alexandra Hospital this morning (Thursday) following an accident involving two cars on the Redditch to Bromsgrove Highway.
An ambulance crew joined police officers and firefighters at the scene after a call to the emergency services at around 8.50am.
The man, who was in his 50s, had managed to free himself from the vehicle but was taken to hospital with complaints of back pain.
