A Christmas message from the Mayor, Councillor Michael Chalk:
“THE Borough is looking lovely with all its festive decorations and once again the sense of community is evident in Redditch as people pull together to spread Christmas joy.
However, it is worth remembering that not everyone has a joyful Christmas and our thoughts are with those who are separated from their families or who are feeling lonely.
Please spare a few minutes to visit elderly neighbours to make sure they are warm, have food and even share a mince pie.
One little act of kindness can go a long way.
So, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and wealth, health and prosperity for the New Year.“
