MEET Queen Froggybeth – the winning scarecrow in the summer competition at Redditch’s Forge Mill Needle Museum.
The scarecrow was created by youngsters from Redditch Home Education Community and staved off competition from 30 other scarecrows.
Dennis the Menace came second and the Gruffalo took third place at the event over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
Mayor of Redditch, Councillor Juliet Brunner who judged the competition, said: “Although it was a rainy day, the competition was fierce and I was delighted to see how creative all the entries were.”
