A FREE open weekend is being held at Redditch United this Saturday and Sunday, August 1-2 – and everyone is invited.
Billed as ‘Welcoming the community back to the Trico Stadium’ it’s opportunity for local people to discover what’s going on at their local football club and meet the new chairman and owner David Faulkner.
The family event will give visitors an opportunity to see United’s newly assembled squad in an open training session at 12.30pm on Saturday, as well as other activities on the pitch.
The bar will also be open and season tickets will be on sale at £99.
The Reds struggled last season in Southern League Premier Division Central, escaping relegation by the skin of their teeth.
“We’re excited to welcome supporters back to the Trico and show them all the hard work to improve the club,” said Faulkner.
“It is our hope this event will further strengthen the bond between the Reds and supporters ahead of the new season.”
Gates open at 9am on both days.
