A MEETING will be held in Redditch next week to discuss the possibility of a dementia group being set up at Redditch United’s Trico Stadium.
More than 1,000 people in Redditch are living with dementia, causing their social interaction to be curtailed as their reliance upon family members increases.
Dementia Friends, with the help of Redditch United, would like to set up a group which would allow people with dementia to regularly engage in socialising and exercise.
The consultation is open for the public to attend and will take place at the Trico Stadium on Thursday March 7, starting at 7pm.
