Megastars including Lewis Capaldi rehearse at secret Redditch studio - but what do we know about it?

DOZENS of megastars come to Redditch every year to rehearse at the largest purpose-built production studio in Europe – but what do we know about it?

The secretive ‘Fly By Nite’ studio, based on Broad Ground Road, is an arena-sized rehearsal venue where top musicians practise their craft.

Built in 2015, it covers more than 1,600 square metres and is used by artists ahead of their tours.

It enables them to get ready for upcoming shows at places like the Genting Arena and the NIA with the benefit of not having an audience watching.

The reason why singer Lewis Capaldi was spotted at various establishments around Redditch recently was because he was rehearsing at the studio.

While Fly By Nite bosses refused to comment on which artists have used their studio over the last five years, stars including Kylie Minogue, Ed Sheeran and Radiohead have all reportedly spent time there.

It’s also said to have attracted other high profile customers including Kings of Leon, Shawn Mendes, The Cranberries and is believed to be one of few production studios in the country.

The state-of-the-art facility, which operates 24-hours a day, is used by those from the music, theatre, film, dance and TV industries.

It boasts top-quality green rooms, air-conditioned dressing rooms, a gym and a sauna.

The VIP rooftop terrace, which has a helipad, overlooks scenic spots of Arrow Valley Lake.
