A CANNABIS  grow was discovered in Redditch in the early hours of this morning (Thursday 27) following a 999-call reporting a disturbance at a residential address.

Police responded to a report of an ongoing burglary at the property on Oakenshaw Road in Greenlands at around 3.30am.

Upon attending the address, a strong smell of cannabis was evident and inside the house around 40 plants – 15 to 20 mature and 20 immature – were found, mainly in the loft area, as well as a large amount of cash and drug paraphernalia.
