TWO 18 year old men have appeared in court charged with aggravated vehicle taking without consent and conspiracy to steal motor vehicles after a collision earlier this week in Redditch.

Joshua Jones, of Pitfields Road, Oldbury, and Harry Smith, of Compton Grove, Halesowen, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today.

Jones is also charged with failing to stop and driving without insurance and was remanded in custody.

Smith was bailed and both will appear at court again on June 21.

In the incident, a Ford Fiesta collided with another car in Silver Street, Redditch.

The driver of the second car was treated at hospital and has since been discharged.
