A TALK and discussion on the menopause will take place at The Swan in Upton Warren.
It follows a similar event in Stourport which was hailed a great success.
The event, at 7.30pm on March 28 in the pub’s function room, has been organised by Diane Porterfield from Bourne2care.
“I have been chatting to lots of ladies about the menopause and there is a huge problem because many women are too embarrassed to talk about it.
“I’m realising now how big this problem is, so instead of women thinking its normal to experience emotional and physical symptoms, I’m explaining to them its not and they can get help and advice to feel normal again.”
One woman told Diane how her marriage broke down but after starting on HRT she realisesd how awful she felt then and how amazing she felt now.
