MORE than 100 senior citizens came together for the annual Christmas tea dance at the village hall in Studley last week.
Organised by a team of volunteers headed by Julie Summers there was music, carols and of course dancing plus a tot of sherry to make sure the afternoon went with a swing.
The special guest was Father Christmas who came loaded with gifts for all the seniors.
He also joined in with ‘Happy Birthday’ for Ken Beech who was 97 on the day.
“It was a lovely afternoon of good cheer and good company and I think everyone enjoyed themselves,” said Julie.
The next tea dance is scheduled for around Easter – check the noticeboard at the village hall for details.
