MORE than 120,000 visitors are expected for the three-day Game Fair at Ragley Hall from Friday, July 27 to Sunday, July 29.
Exhibitors, sponsors and staff will swell the numbers further, while 4,000 people will be on site for four days before The Game Fair begins during the construction phase, many of them using local restaurants and shops.
It is estimated that the show could boost the local economy by as much as £30million.
Beckie Vizor, front of house supervisor at The Throckmorton, inn three miles of Ragley Hall said: “We’ve been fully booked for The Game Fair weekend for a while.
“We are just five minutes away from Ragley Hall so we tend to be busy when there are big events there. The Game Fair is certainly good for business.”
WINNERS: THE Midlands Air Ambulance has won Employer of the Year at the annual Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Awards.
This accolade was awarded to the charity after the organisation was shortlisted along with four other local companies for its forward thinking and modern approach to employees’ career development and their wellbeing.
