A STUNNING array of more than 200 hand-knitted poppies have gone on display at Huntleys Funeral Services in Redditch.
It was put together by employee Martyn Jeynes and his stepmum Brenda ahead of Remembrance Sunday.
Brenda, who is currently shielding, knitted the poppies in two weeks.
Fifty or 60 of the poppies, which aren’t on display, will be sold in aid of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
Martyn, who has worked in the funeral industry for 30 years, said: “I started working at Huntleys when I was 17 and then left after three years.
“I recently returned here after a career elsewhere because I wanted to help out during the pandemic.”
Donations can be made at huntleysfunerals.dedicationpage.org/remembrance and in return a poppy will be delivered to your door.
