REDDITCH MP Rachel Maclean has launched her annual schools Christmas Card competition.
It’s open to every child up to the age of 16 living and attending a school in the Redditch constituency.
The winning card will be selected to go to all of the MP’s contacts this Christmas, and their family will be given the chance to visit the Palace of Westminster on one of her coach tours.
Entries should depict a seasonal subject and be relevant to Redditch.
Entries should be up to A4 in size, have the artist’s full name, address, date of birth, and school on the reverse and must not be folded.
In an effort to keep costs down, entries can’t have items attached to them like glitter, cotton or feathers.
Entries should be sent to Freepost, Rachel Maclean MP, Redditch.
No stamp is required, and no other wording is needed on the envelope.
The deadline for entries is 5.30pm on Monday, November 8, 2021.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing this year’s designs. The more creative the better,” said Mrs Maclean.
“It is lovely to receive a card from a talented young artist rather than a standard snowy picture of Parliament or a wintry Big Ben.
“It’s time to get designing!”
