MUM-OF-TWO Ginett McGuire has managed to drop 24 dress sizes in just two years to prevent her children from being bullied for having a ‘fat mum’.

After suffering from fat-related bullying for most of her life, the 44-year-old decided that enough was enough and joined ladies-only gym Gymophobics in Redditch in a bid to shed the pounds.

Ginett weighed more than 21st when she joined Gymophobics and she subsequently followed the gym’s resisted tension programme and ditched her bad diet, helping her lose 12.2st and reducing her figure by an incredible 125 inches.

She said her main motivation was to stop her children from being bullied for having a ‘fat mum’.

“I noticed a few times some of the kids pointing and laughing at me. My children mean the world to me and I was afraid that they might get bullied for having a fat mum.”

The weight loss has also helped her regain her confidence and led her to trying new things.

“For years my kids tried to get me on our trampoline and for the first time this summer I went on it,” she said.

Gymophobics founder Donna Hubard described Ginett as a ‘true inspiration’.
