Musical theatre event launches at Ragley Hall in 2022

THE inaugural Gaiety Musical Theatre Festival set in the picturesque grounds of Ragley Hall in Warwickshire is taking place on May Day 2022.

This feel-good festival is a must for any theatre fan, with a galaxy of West End stars performing show- stopping numbers in a day-long celebration of everything musical theatre.

Producer Mike Wilson said: “We are beyond excited to be staging this unique homage to musical theatre at a time in which our industry is celebrating its renaissance.

“Gaiety Festival is very much designed with fans in mind with every aspect of the experience tailored to delight theatre audiences.

“We look forward to welcoming festival-goers from across the country to Ragley Hall on 1st May 2022.”

The star-studded main stage lineup is still under wraps, but all music will be provided by the acclaimed London Musical Theatre Orchestra.

The London Musical Theatre Orchestra (LMTO) is the world’s only professional orchestra dedicated to performing musical theatre repertoire.

LMTO CEO and artistic director, Freddie Tapner, said: “The London Musical Theatre Orchestra is thrilled to be part of this hugely exciting event.

“Accompanying multiple top-flight artists at a single festival will be a unique thrill, and I know audiences will relish hearing their favourite acts belt their favourite songs all day long.”

The lineup shall be announced on the Gaiety Festival social channels from Monday 25th October 2021.

Priority booking opens Monday 8th November 2021 at 10am and general release on Wednesday 10th November 2021 at 10am.
