A REDDITCH Borough Councillor has had the whip taken off him, with people asking why.
Coun Sid Khan, who was re-elected as a Labour councillor earlier this year, has been removed from the party.
He has been listed at an Independent councillor on the Redditch Borough Council website.
In 2022, The Standard reported Coun Khan was elected to the Labour National Policy Forum, part of the policy-making system of the Labour Party.
The Standard has contacted leader of the council, Coun Joe Baker, but he was unable to comment.
