New non-exectuive director joins Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust

A NEW non-executive director with extensive experience of the private and not-for-profit sectors is joining the board of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

Anita Day is a chartered accountant, executive leader and business coach, with an international strategy consulting background.

She is currently working for IBM Global Business Services leading Europe-wide strategic culture transformation and workforce strategy initiatives.

She was brought up and went to school in Worcestershire.

Her family connections to the NHS include her younger daughter, who is a junior doctor in Derby.

A respected business and political commentator, she is a regular guest on local political TV shows.

Her term of office runs from August 1, 2018 until July 31, 2020.

She is entitled to receive a remuneration of £6,157 per year. She is a member of the Liberal Democrat party.
