A NEW playground has been built at Forge Mill Needle Museum, thanks to £52,500 of government money.
Redditch Borough Council invested in the site as part of its playground investment scheme.
It’s one of a number of new playgrounds across the town, including Arrow Valley Country Park, Mayfields Park, Birchfield Road, Winyates and the Multi-Use Games Area under construction in Greenlands.
Rachel Maclean, MP for Redditch said: “We’re working hard to make sure Redditch is a great place to live and raise a family and investing in brand-new playgrounds is a key part of that.
“This investment being delivered by the Borough Council follows other investments we’ve seen in parks across Redditch from Arrow Valley to Winyates – clear proof we’re delivering for everyone in our wonderful town.”
