NO LONGER will residents and visitors to the town pass Webheath Church and not know its name, who the vicar is or when the services take place.
St Philip’s Church is now well and truly on the map thanks to a generous donation from County Councillor Robin Lunn.
After agreeing with the District Church Council that St Phillip’s is an important part of the Webheath community, Coun Lunn kindly donated the funds to finance a new sign for the church.
“I was delighted to be able to assist the fund-raising efforts at Webheath Church and to help provide, for the first time, a proper sign highlighting the building,” Coun Lunn said.
