No arrests made for man enticing child into van incident, say police

REDDITCH police say no arrests have been made after a man allegedly attempted to entice a child into his blue van.

The incident allegedly happened on October 9, near Ridgeway Middle School on Evesham Road.

Detective Sergeant Iain Standing said there is no need for further concern over the incident.

“After a thorough police investigation, we can confidently confirm that there is no threat to the public in regards to this matter and no arrests have been necessary.

“This investigation has now been finalised.

“We would like to thank everybody who took the time to provide information to us about this.”
