NO MUD no glory – runners can get down and dirty at Ragley Hall next week as they take on The Royal British Legion’s (RBL) award-winning obstacle course.

The RBL Major Series sees competitiors tackle a five or ten kilometre mud run which includes up to 30 different obstacles.

This year organisers expect around 2,000 runners to descend on the stately grounds of Alcester’s Ragley Hall ion March 12, with ‘waves’, or groups of runners, setting off every 15 minutes from 9.30am.

Now in its eighth season, the RBL Major Series will welcome participants of all abilities and showcase new obstacles such as a giant ‘porridge pot’ and a burning building alongside the usual mud crawls, cargo nets and a vanishing bridge.

Participants needn’t fear though, as over 40 of the Major’s finest troops will be on hand throughout the course to help and encourage the runners.
