THERE will be no trains to or from London Euston this Saturday and Sunday, August 26-27.
Network Rail is carrying out upgrade work at London Euston in preparation for HS2, part of Britain’s Railway Upgrade Plan.
As a result of this no Virgin or London Midland trains will run to / from the West Midlands and London Euston stations on August 26-27.
London Midland trains which normally run between Birmingham New Street and London Euston will only run as far south as Northampton. Virgin trains services will terminate at Rugby or Milton Keynes.
Additionally there will be no Chiltern train services to London from Birmingham Snow Hill. Services from Birmingham Moor Street will continue to operate.
